Moss terrascape DIY

This video is about a Moss terrascape that I built using an interesting piece of driftwood, some moss and plants. Prior to the build I boiled the driftwood in water to sterilise it and remove fungal spores if any on the wood. I used some superglue (hardscape glue) to attach the wood to 3 pieces of river stones that the wood stands on its own at a slight angle. I also attached some thin pieces of driftwood to the main wood to create some details. Next I prepared a paste by mixing aquasoil powder and Sphagnum moss with water. I applied the paste onto the cracks and crevices of the wood on which I proceeded to attach some Fissidens moss.I also used another Moss at the base the id of which is unknown to me. Next I attached some Anubias nana and Bolbitis Ferns to complete the scape. I took a rectangular glass jar and placed some lava rocks in it on which I carefully placed the moss terrascape. Finally misted the terrarium, added some springtails and closed it up. Materials buying link Glass container
