Highlights of our rousing, star studded march and grand finale event in Parliament Square on #International Women’s Day. On International Women’s Day, Sunday 8th March 2020, people came together in London to celebrate the power and passion of women and girls on the frontline of the climate crisis – and to call for action to support women and girls to lead and shape the response to the climate crisis. Feminists and climate activists marched alongside celebrities including Helen Pankhurst, Sandi Toksvig, Sadiq Khan, Låpsley, Emeli Sandé and George MacKay and Dr Shola Mos-Shogbamimu ending in a grand finale with speeches and entertainment around the message that “There’s no climate justice without gender justice”.
