Today I will show you how to achieve hard-hitting, fat, punchy, well sitting in the mix, loud & clear, audible on all devices drums for all genres. The first concept is about Volume Balance & making sure that no instrument overwhelms us in terms of loudness. For everybody asking about gain-staging, we will do a different video about that. The second concept is about Processing, mainly equalization (EQ) we cut unnecessary frequencies from every drum instrument. Most attention will need to get - snare drum. We made a separate video about that - check our channel! In the processing part, we will also show how to do Parallel Compression, how important it is & why you need it. The final concept is about Sidechaining. We also made a separate video about that - taken from our Full Beginner to Intermediate FL Course. If you want to learn more about Mixing Trap & EDM Instrumentals and Vocals or different concepts such as production from Start to Finish, finding vocalists, etc. check our Online Courses! We just released our NEW Future Bass from Start to Finish course which is my favourite course of them all so far - I’m sure you will love it! all sounds you hear in today’s video come from the new Ultimate Future Bass Sample pack! Check them both out - Link at the top of the description!
