“What IS that incredible sound?” This will be the question of the moment during internationally acclaimed Ghanian drummer and composer Paa Kow’s set. Playing a custom, hand-carved, traditionally inspired Ghanian drum set that is the only one of its kind, Paa Kow will lead attendees on an extraordinary cultural and musical journey. Paa Kow has been dubbed “Ghana’s most artistic drummer“ (Modern Ghana), has toured with African and American luminaries including Kojo Antwi, Amakye Dede and Victor Wooten, and has brought his singular Afro-Fusion performance style on tour in Africa, Europe and America. Next stop: The mainstage in New Haven.
