We made it to the geographical centre of Europe in Ukraine. The Austro-Hungarian momument is located in Rakhiv in the heart of the Ukrainian Carpathians. This area, home to an ethnic group called the Hutsul’s, feels like a cradle of west Ukrainian culture. After the monument of the centre of Europe we set off for our beautiful guest house in the remote Carpathian village of Kvasy where we explore the village and try a local ’Hustul’ dish & more Borscht (of course!).
