Iran Knocks UN On “Israeli Threats To Attack Nuclear Sites“, IDF Colonel Killed, THAAD Deployed: US

The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) confirmed the death of Col Ehsan Daxa, commander of the 401st “Iron Tracks“ Brigade, who was killed in northern Gaza on 20 October. Col Daxa’s tank struck an explosive device in Jabaliya, marking him as the highest-ranking officer to die in the ongoing conflict. Another officer from the same brigade was severely injured in the incident and taken to hospital for treatment. In a separate event, Sgt Elishai Young, a member of the non-Jewish Hebrew Israelites Community, was killed in fighting on 19 October and was laid to rest on 21 October in Dimona Military Cemetery. Meanwhile, the US deployed the THAAD missile defence system in Israel, enhancing its defences against potential Iranian missile threats. US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin emphasised the need for de-escalation, calling for Israel to scale back its strikes, especially near Beirut. Iran criticised the deployment, mocking the THAAD system and warning Israel not to rely on it. Hezbollah intensified its attacks, firing rockets at northern Israel and downing an Israeli drone, as Israeli airstrikes pounded southern Lebanon, Beirut and the Bekaa Valley. #israel #israeliarmy #israelhamaswar #worldnews n18oc_world n18oc_crux CRUX is your daily video news guide to the big events that are shaping our world.
