RVV-MD Short-range air-to-air missile

RVV-MD is a short-range air-to air missile for a close and highly maneuvering dogfight. The missile ensures engagement of aerial targets (fighters, strikers, bombers, military transport aircraft and helicopters) around-the-clock, from any aspect, against background of earth, during enemy’s active countermeasures. The missile is equipped with the dual-band infrared homing seeker (IRS) with the multiele-ment photodetector and completely digital processing of a signal. Operation in two spectral rang-es allows to increase considerably the seeker noise immunity, both from natural hindrances, and organized countermeasures.
