Vox’s Pilot vs Final design ⏐The Evolution of Vox in Hazbin Hotel

Do you remember this in Hazbin Hotel? For my next couple shorts i’m going to compare and contrast some of the cast to their old pilot designs. Up first is vox. Personally i think vox looked better in his pilot form. I’ll have some footage from tiktok user Superlizardgirl playing in the background so you can see a comparison. He had a darker colour scheme, his hypnotic eye was on all the time along with the red blood dripping from his mouth. Alot of these traits made it into the full series, however they only show up when he’s angry or annoyed. Twitter user Kotomakesweird made this comparison image, again showing what vox would’ve looked like if he kept his pilot design. All of the pilot outfits are still canon in the hazbin universe, it’s just that they wore them in the past. In episode 2 we see a photograph of vox and valentino 7 years ago, where vox has a crt box style head. So in season 2 we’ll likely see flashbacks where he goes from his old crt style, to his pilot version, and finally to his modern look. Which style do you prefer? Let me know down below.
