Ingredients:
Pork Filling:
3 pounds pork butt (shoulder)
1 teaspoon salt
16 ounces canned tomatoes
1/2 small onion
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 to 3/4 cup mashed poratoes
Masa:
3 cups masa harina
2 1/2 cups water
1 cup corn oil
Curtido:
1/2 medium cabbage
1 carrot
1/2 small red onion
2 cups water
2 cups cider vinegar
1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 teaspoon red chili flakes
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 red bell pepper
