Microcavity exciton-polaritons: quasiparticles of liquid light Speaker: Nina Voronova, Associate Professor, National Research Nuclear University MEPhI/Institute for Laser and Plasma Technologies In this lecture, we introduce the notion of elementary excitations of a semiconductor optical microresonator: the exciton-polaritons. We discuss their nature and basic properties, and describe various physical phenomena and applications connected to polariton systems. Обсуждаются природа их возникновения, их основные свойства, и описываются различные физические эффекты и приложения, связанные с поляритонными системами.
