「ロックマンX2」Rockman X2 Playthrough (JP, English Translation) - Part 2, Wheel Alligates

For the translation, be sure to turn on the captions! X2’s translation was done by keekiyasan. I took it from his personal blog since he allowed me to do so. Check the man out! --------------------- AAAAAAHHHH I HATE THIS STAAAAGE Even if it’s a huge tank with a bunch of hovering Ride Armors. So, it wouldn’t be that hard if I didn’t want to collect everything in one go. And even then I decided to drop that decision of mine. However I still wanted to get the Arm Parts! I was able to get them first try on my first attempt, and then I got them again several times, but then I got stuck on this freaking moment for 3 HOURS. I was even thinking to cheat real hard on this stage by setting the jump and dash buttons on one button (RetroArch can do that, yup), but... eventually... I got to the Arm Parts again and called that a victory. Here’s the proof I was able to do it before in one go: I could’ve waited until I get the Foot Parts (because you need them to get to this capsule intended way), but my pals told me you can do it without the upgrates. So this is why I wanted to try and get them no matter what. Then I wanted to get Heart-Tank by damage-boosting and wall-jumping on the spikes, but I’m not fast enough to do that. Here’s the video of somebody else doing it: The entended way of getting this Heart-Tanks is with Arm Parts, Foot Parts and Flame Stagger’s weapon. I’ll get it off screen when the time comes. Other than that... Well, I still hate this stage, but it was kinda fun in some places with Arm Parts equipped. Also this stage introduces our new Sniper Joes - Disk Boys. Love the fact you can kick their shields in the air thank to Charge Shot. Aaaaaahhhh... Wheel FREAKING Alligates... He’s annoying and the fact I’m not that fast (and the fact I was already tired) made the fight even more frusturating. Alligates swims in the fuel tank (with fuel being the smoothest thing in the game for me so far. Even more fluid than The Gigantic Mechaniloid). He can capture you in his jaws, throw the metal blades at you and he also can turn into a croco-drill which you actually can’t see in my recording. Luckily, I still managed to beat him, even with 2 HP left. Then... here goes the plot development. Counter Hunters decide to contact the Hunter Base (also, ho, Dr. Cain has got a sprite this time!) and tell X and Cain that they’re plannin on ressurecting Zero himself. They challenge X to beat them up, alone, in order to get his fellow hunter back and thus... the quest to put Zero back up piece-by-piece has now officially begun.
