You know you should make time for yourself, but where are you going to find that time? This everyday overwhelm, which goes as far as total exhaustion, is captured by alqemiste in their new single ’Recharge’. “How shall I live my life, when all these demons try to pull me under?“ ʻAggressiveʼ and ʻdarkʼ are the keywords that describe the track best. We enter with the chanted chorus, which rolls along energetically like modern hardcore. Other parts are reminiscent of Chelsea Grin’s bluntly aggressive ’steamroller tracks’. And finally, there is some trap again! This time, however, not in the radio-friendly style as it was the case with ’Give Me Sleep’ - But with a very raw and energetic style, this one sounds more like $uicideboy$ or Ghostemane. “Wires everywhere, surrounding my body, surrounding my soul“ Taken literally in the visualizer to the new track, which shows a female robot hanging from the ceiling by cables in a gloomy, lab-like setting. The camera floats around the room while the music is accompanied by a strobe-like effect.
