Former President Donald Trump, who’s been seen wearing a bandage on his right ear following an assassination attempt during a weekend rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, announced the pick earlier this week. Introduced by his wife, Usha Vance, the 39-year-old detailed his own life story and said, “Tonight is a night of hope. A celebration of what America once was, and with God’s grace, what it will soon be again.“ His speech comes on the same day that President Biden’s campaign said Vice President Harris accepted a date of August 12th for a debate with Vance on CBS.
