The Polish violinist Janusz Wawrowski returns to the virtuosic, yet relatively little-known, music of the 20th-century composer Ludomir Różycki, with pianist Mischa Kozłowski. Listen here:
His album Phoenix showcased a special rarity by this Polish composer: his lost concerto, which was hidden within a suitcase buried in the garden of his home before he escaped with his family during The Warsaw Uprising in 1944. It was never performed in Różycki’s lifetime. Discover here:
