And why fix something that isn’t broken? Besides, with talents like Henco van Wyk, who can slot in at 13 and has displayed defensive skills akin to Lukhanyo Am, the future looks promising for South Africa. A few months ago, the very thought of Moodie being a part of the World Cup squad might have been considered wishful thinking by many. But today, he’s not just in the squad; he’s making an irrefutable case to be a starter. With top players like Cheslin Kolbe and Kurt-Lee Arendse in form, Moodie’s rapid rise is a testament to his unparalleled talent and determination.
