Electric Hand Planer Jig | Flattening without Jointer or Planer, No modification needed (subtitled)

A jig for flattening with an electric hand planer. You can prepare both sides of the board to make it even in thickness without using a stationary jointer or planer. The jig has a very simple structure and uses an electric planer placed on a rail. A planer doesn’t need to be modified. It’s an easy-to-make and practical electric hand planer jig. When making furniture, etc., it is common to use multiple boards of the same thickness. The boards are shaved little by little to make it even in thickness, but considering the work involved, I thought it would be better to move the board rather than adjusting the height of the planer. It has a similar structure to a stationary planer. The shaving can be adjusted from 0.3 mm to an appropriate amount by adjusting the height of the material. Finish cutting of 0.1 mm is also possible. The size of the jig is matched to the material that is often used. Of course you can mill 1x material and 2x material. The jig can plane from 1/2“ to 1-1/2“ (
