Yes, I dropped my drumstick mid phrase at the end of this vid!!! Full video is on my Patreon. Here’s part of an open drum solo I did for my 2021 @dcjazzfest performance as part of my online “Concert from Home” performance during the early days of the lockdown experience. This was one of my first home recording projects. I didn’t have a lot of recording gear at the time. You can tell by the mic stand on the snare. Ha!! We just moved into our home and was finally able to setup drums and mics to begin the next stage in my journey of recording and engineering. Having a studio to try things in and leave gear setup has been a GAME CHANGER!!! Also, I dropped a stick mid solo and was NOT about to re-record it. I didn’t have time to that day/week.
