This is one wicked stick that has been used quite considerably in eastern Arnhem Land before it being sold. Quincey Matjaki shows what it is capable of despite the instrument being very dry and possibly leaking air. The instrument itself displays several repair patches, it looks like a combination of sawdust and wood glue. The yirdaki connoisseur would be well rewarded with sealing the instrument on the inside and outside which would improve the volume, responsiveness and power of this otherwise stunning didgeridoo.
