Full title reads: “Paris. By over 4,000 feet - Mlle. Mayse Hilz beats aeroplane height record (28,744 ft) for Women, held by America’s Miss Ruth Nichols.“ Paris, France. Woman aviator, Mayse Hilz, is helped into warm flying suit by two men. She is standing in front of a plane. C/U as she puts on more layers to ensure that she stays warm at altitude. She is wearing a flying helmet. She climbs into the open cockpit of her plane. A man helps her to get her parachute in properly. C/U An oxygen mask is fixed over her face. She is wearing heavy gloves. The plane takes off and climbs quickly. C/U a measuring and recording device which presumably will make a note of her altitude.
