On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Ustad N. Zahiruddin dagar, here’s sharing a beautiful film featuring the younger Dagar Brothers. The simplicity of the music and the musicians comes forth beautifully. This is the first ever film made on the brothers. Its most captivating and powerful aspect is the spiritually uplifting and powerful old world charm of the venue (Tughlaqabad Fort) further enhances the meditative quality. The images of deities and people praying at the ghats of Ganges further add to the experience. We also get to see an exquisite solo pakhawaj playing of the great Pt Gopal Das Panse and the young Ustad F. Wasifuddin Dagar alongside his parents, uncle and aunt. A loving tribute indeed !!
