MPC Film - The Naturalistic effects of The Lion King

The Lion King challenged MPC Film’s FX and fur dynamics teams to achieve a naturalistic look that would stand up in a nature documentary. The simulations needed to show an exceptional attention to detail in order to truly sell the environment, and to keep the viewer invested in the story being presented by not breaking the sense of immersion.
