Roland PD-80 Restoration

Why buying a new expensive Roland PD-85 if you can restore a used PD-80R for less than half of the costs. Find V-drum Tips on: Facebook: Twitter: Webpage: Clean a mesh head: I dissembled the pad, cleaned the plastic parts with water (dishwasher) and the metal ones with ethyl alcohol. I paid 50 Euro for the pad and 10 Euro for the new rubber rim protector. 60Euro 1 hour work and effort in total. This is way better than buying a new PD-85 pad for almost 200 Euro. The PD 80 and PD 85 pads are the same, except of the colour. I had both, and I dissembled both. They are made out of the same parts and need the same sensitivity settings.
