Our friends at Cold Sword have delivered a new batch of cassettes, unearthing more of Russia’s fiendish underground. First up, we have Επιλέξετε θάνατος – a mysterious Russian band, with a Greek name, that loosely translates to Choose Death, and a debut that fizzes into a cloudy, cacophonous battery of snarling, feral occult savagery. As ever with Cold Sword releases, this release has some interesting twists and unexpected details hidden within the murky primitivism, continuing the distinctive character of this label to release albums that defy expectations.
