Permaculture Designer Builds Unique Straw Bale Home - Full Tour!

In today’s video, we visit Michael Judd’s beautiful roundwood timber-framed straw bale home in Frederick, Maryland. This natural building’s frame was built mainly with storm-fallen lumber sourced directly from their property. The clay, sand, and straw used in the home were also sourced locally. The round design is especially unique and creates a special sense of flow throughout the home. A special thanks to Michael Judd and his family for having us and taking the time to show us around!
