JERUSALEMA (RMX) - Tambor Sax

My friend and incredibly talented musician Neney Santos, the djembe player in this video, is about to travel to Brasil, his native land, for 2 months. We had to make a video before that! At first, we didn’t really know what song would be best in order to show the capabilities of both the sax and the djembe, but I was reminded by somebody on my channel that I never played “Jerusalema“. The song is from Africa and the djembe also comes from there, so the idea clicked. I made the new backing track and I sent the arrangement to Neney and that was it: we were gonna record the video without ever played once the song together. 😂 The next day we traveled to Sabaudia, 2 hours from Rome, with the blessing of the fantastic weather.
