The History of Raf Simons

Raf Simons is one of the most influential designers in the history of fashion. We all know that he’s a favorite among celebrities like Kanye West and A$AP Rocky, but in this video we’ll be going all the way back to the very beginning. We’ll see how he got his start in the industry without going to school for fashion, the most important shows early in his career (including Black Palms, Riot Riot Riot, and Virginia Creeper), his appointment at Jil Sander, the drama surrounding his departure, his work at Dior, the move to Calvin Klein, and then finally his arrival at Prada. We’ll also be looking at how he impacted the sneaker game with his Adidas partnership, featuring standouts like the Ozweegos and Stan Smiths.
