Triebflugel Nachtjager - What if? Night fighter (Miniart 1/35 scale model)

This is the Nachtjager (night fighter) version of the kit. The Triebflugel is a ’What if?’ aircraft which only made it as far as wind tunnel testing before the end of the war. It was designed as a VTOL (Vertical Take Off and Landing) aircraft, allowing it to operate despite damage to runways caused by constant Allied bombing raids. This is the first What-If kit I have built on the channel, and I really enjoyed the freedom that status gives in terms of paint schemes and markings. The instructions and the other variations of this model kit include many different marking schemes, including some captured ones, and I’d definitely consider building another copy of this kit in the future in order to produce a different scheme.
