William Masselos - Stars (Dane Rudhyar)

One of my favorite pieces for piano solo is STARS from Pentagrams No. 3 Release by Dane Rudhyar [Daniel Chenneviere] (1895-1985) artist, astrologer, author, composer, philosopher e.g. The Magic of Tone and the Art of Music (Shambhala, 1982). Harvard musicologist Carol Oja sees Dane Rudhyar as an American Ultra Modernist, whose “goal is a build up of ’cumulative resonances,’ as he put it, which could linger in the consciousness.“
