Latin Push-Pull Big Band Transcription Video Series Part 3- “Soaring“ by Bob Florence
Here is Part 3 in a series of big band chart transcriptions that I will be posting periodically.
This transcription is a Latin tune called Soaring by Bob Florence. It is on the album Soaring that came out in 1983. The drummer on the album is Nick Ceroli. This is an advanced Samba arrangement that contains complex layered rhythms and incorporates the push -pull technique with the dominant hand.
