10 Percent True #15 -- CONSTANT PEG footage: Red Eagles React

Between 1977 and 1988, the US Air Force’s Red Eagle squadron exposed more than 1,600 American tactical aviators to “the threat“. The programme, known as CONSTANT PEG, was shut down in the Spring of 1988, and only declassified in 2006. I was fortunate enough to be entrusted with the responsibility for putting the first written account of the squadron, and in the year or so it took to do that, some photos came to light and the occasional document would appear from an unknown place. Rumours of a CONSTANT
