It is the same island region in the Philippines where Disney did their research on the clown fish for their feature film “Finding Nemo“. It is also the same islands from where Alex Garland was inspired to write the book “The Beach“ which was ultimately made into a film and shot on location in Thailand, starring Leonardo DiCaprio.
