Masuda Iwafune - Japan’s Most Mysterious Megalith “Masuda Rock Ship“ Kashihara, Nara Japan
Masuda Iwafune is a giant megalith located in a quiet corner of Kashihara city, just north of Asuka village. It’s name literally translates to “Masuda Rock Ship“ and no one knows what it was for, who made it, who put it there or how long it has been there, although many historians date it back to the Kofun period (250AD - 550AD).
