Carlos Paredes (Coimbra, 1925 - Lisbon, 2004) was a Portuguese musician, and the most influential composer and player of the Portuguese Guitar. This piece, “António Marinheiro“ was written for a Bernardo Santareno’s play in the 1960’s - a Oedipus tale of the modern times.
