Country Music Star John Anderson performs a rendition of “Seminole Wind“ with Lorraine Jordan and her bluegrass band Carolina Road. Lorraine Jordan has been fronting Carolina Road for more than 20 years, during which time she has won two IBMA awards for Recorded Events of the Year (2009, 2011), won the 2015 SPBGMA Entertainer of the Year and Traditional Female Vocalist of the Year awards, and was nominated for the 2015 Carolina Music Awards in the Bluegrass Americana category. Lorraine is a co founder of The Daughters of Bluegrass and an original member. Their Back to the Well album won the IBMA Recorded Event in 2006, and she was part of the Daughter’s latest album, Bluegrass Bouquet also a 2009 IBMA Recorded Event of the Year winner for the song “Proud to be a Daughter.” Lorraine’s charisma during her emcee work on stage gives Carolina Road a great connection with the audience.
