Loose Watercolour Sky Practice how to avoid overworking, watercolor landscape painting tutorial demo

In today’s demo I share another one of my daily sky practices, a seascape focusing on the sky, and talking about trying to avoid overworking your painting, in other words, knowing when to stop! I use Saunders Waterford cold pressed paper, indigo, burnt umber, raw sienna and paynes grey, and prussian blue, with hake and flat brushes and a small calligraphy brush, but please feel free to use whatever colours and brushes you like and are comfortable with if you try something similar. My board is at an angle of about 45-60 degrees. Many thanks to my lovely Patrons for your support!
