I wrote this sentence when I was 13. I was a terrified teenager, full of deep anxieties. I felt uncomfortable; I didn’t know who I was. So I wrote this sentence to comfort myself, to feel protected. I was giving myself permission to be whoever I wanted, to have different sides.
