Veins (Nicaragua) — Will And Representation — 2022 full length

The third album from this Nicaraguan solo act. Another impressive record from Corvo, that follows his previous steps. I can partially understand why MA flagged this project as post metal, since the previous record detoured occasionally around atmospheric black metal and synths, however that is not the core of this project. Despite previous synth usage, this one does not go there. It seems less harsh than his predecessor, while keeping the dissonant and serpentine songwriting with a great support of bass and drumming. The drumming is definitely one of his selling points, as well as the vocals that are able to convey the song’s mood with total assertiveness.
