My good friend, grand-master Keith R. Kernspecht, is teaching his internal version of WingTsun these days. GM Kernspecht is 75 years old. His student Kaan is 30 years younger, much heavier, of greater muscle mass and certainly more powerful. Yet Kaan, like the other ~60,000 students of the EWTO, cannot move GM Kernspecht or go past his hands. Strength vs. Skill.
This is, of course, just a friendly demonstration of body-mechanics. An exercise to help students learn how to ground their bodies better and rob an opponent of its energy. It is not even a combative drill, though it is important and essential for understanding the intricacies of the system.
