Forging Smithsonian Bowie knife from a semi truck leaf spring.

Forging a 50 cm long Bowie knife based on the historical Smithsonian Bowie knife. I made this knife in commission. The knife is forged from 5061 steel. Hardened and differential tempered. The wood on the handel is Ebony wood. the blacking solution I use is called Bernax.
