Sherry Turkle Reclaiming Conversation: The Power of Talk in the Digital Age
On November 15, 2015 The Simms/Mann Institute and The First 36 Project hosted a special evening with Professor Sherry Turkle where they explored how we negotiate the balance between technology and human relationships.
Sherry Turkle received a joint doctorate in sociology and personality psychology from Harvard University and is a licensed clinical psychologist. She is current director of the MIT Initiative on Technology and Self.
Professor Turkle is a featured media commentator on the social and psychological effects of technology for CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, the BBC, and NPR, including appearances on such programs as Nightline, Front-line, 20/20, and The Colbert Report.
