Little Markie our Pinky Squirrel

My dad found her as he was mowing the grass, actually mowed over her 3 times without realizing it. She was a little miracle because not a single scratch. He waited for the momma to come back but she did not and when he noticed his neighbors cat stalking her he knew she would not survive on her own. Dad called the vet, dnr, and they talked him through what he needed to do for her. He had no time with his crazy schedule to give her the time she needed so he called me and I fed her around the clock every 2 hours. She was finally coming back around but I am not sure if she was just too young, too exposed, or what because she died in her sleep.
