Vedanta Foxconn’s Semiconductor Foray Is Now Housed In Vedanta Ltd | ET Now

Vedanta Ltd Board has considered and approved the acquisition of 100% of Vedanta Foxconn Semiconductors Private Limited (VFSPL) and Vedanta Displays Limited (VDL). Both these co’s were earlier housed under the ultimate holding co of Vedanta Ltd. But now, with this acqusition, these companies are now a part of the listed entity- Vedanta Ltd. These acquisitions are targeted to be completed by Q2 FY 2024. Vedanta Foxconn signed MOU with the Government of Gujarat, to set up the semiconductor and display fabs, in Gujarat in Sep 2022.
