After you learn the pattern repeat, you can make your shawl as large or as small as you want to by continuing the pattern repeat. If you are interested in a left-handed version, find it here: Use any yarn with a long gradient that you have in your stash. This pattern is suitable for a wide range of yarn weights and you can use the hook that goes with your chosen yarn.
