Full title reads: “Amy and Jim in America - after their 3,300 mile flight across the Atlantic.“ Bridgeport, Connecticut, United States of America (USA). Jim Mollison looking fairly bruised and battered and with a bandage around his head is wheeled out in a bath chair. BV of Amy Johnson as she is also wheeled out. A large number of stills and newsreel cameras are there to capture the moment. An unidentified interviewer stands between the flying couple and asks them about their flight across the Atlantic. CU Mollison - he looks badly bruised. Pan across to Amy she thanks the people of Bridgeport for their kindness. MS Jim - he says they didn’t arrive in quite the way they intended. New York. Two shot of Amy and Jim (looking slightly better). Amy sends a message to her family telling them that she is well. CU Jim says he feels better than he looks. N.B. Story ends abruptly.
