Before when I converted it I would convert to 1080p but I have since learned that this is mostly pointless just as it is digitally increasing the size of a picture and expected it to look better (unless it’s vectored of course). I do have a theory that converting to 1080p may be better for full screen use since it would stop YouTube from expanding the video itself which probably accounts for some quality loss on videos smaller than your screen’s resolution but I’m too lazy to test this out/do research on it.
