AS190 - La belle Vie - 1936 Gibson Super 400

Hey guys, today i’m presenting a french classic : LA BELLE VIE. It was composed by guitar player Sacha Distel in 1962 with lyrics by Jean-Broussolle and Jack Reardon. Django obviously never played it since he died in 1953 but this song has been played by musicians in the gypsy jazz style. I’m playing a 1936 Gibson Super 400 you’ve already heard on the channel (don’t get mistaken by the Mccarty pickup that is not in use in this video). The guitar is strung with D’Addario Nickel Strings round wound gauge 12-53 and i’m using a Dunlop Gator pick . The sound is captured by both a Neumann TLM 103 and a bluebird microphone in the room.
