Artiphon Orba 2 Shorts #4: Bike Bell

Now that we can record, upload, and play our own samples with Orba 2, we’re looking around and thinking, “could I make a song with that?”  Spoiler alert: the answer is always yes. For those wondering exactly what’s going on in this video:  Using the Orba app, you really can sample any sound you find. The app will automatically crop and retune your sound so that it’s perfectly playable as an Orba preset. It does this in whatever key your Orba is already set to (this is done by using magic). You can preview the sound as it plays back in the Orba app (that’s what you’re seeing in this video). Once you find something you love, you can easily save it as an Orba 2 preset (for any of the modes) and transfer it onto your device using a cabled, USB connection.
