1875-1880: Street Views of London (Enhanced photo gallery)

Rare views of people going about their day in Victorian London from London Stereoscopic and Photographic Company in the late 1870s. It’s amazing that these pictures survive in such high definition and unblemished quality. This presentation is meant to examine these very old views more thoroughly. As usual I have worked on every photo - Compiling, greatly boosting brightness/contrast, fixing rotation errors, blending everything together and finally zooming and enhancing so we can see the subjects more clearly. The music is selections from Gilbert & Sullivan’s “The Sorcerer“ which premiered at London’s Opera Comique on November 17, 1877
