Coutinho’s last game against Barça with Liverpool

Philippe Coutinho is now officially a Barça player, although there have been times in the past when he’s lined up for the opposing team. Back in 2012, when he was at Espanyol, he featured in a 4-0 defeat at the Camp Nou and he also played in a friendly for Brazil against Barça B at the Ciutat Esportiva. As a Liverpool player, he played Barça once. That was on 6 August 2016 in the International Champions Cup preseason tournament. The venue was Wembley and the game ended in a convincing 4-0 win for the Merseysiders with goals from Mané, Mascherano (own goal), Origi and Grujic Coutinho was on for the first 45 minutes, enough time for him to show signs of his tremendous class down the left. On the opposing side were a number of players that are now his team-mates, including Leo Messi, Ter Stegen, Sergio Busquets, Gerard Piqué and Andrés Iniesta, as well as his former colleague and close friend Luis Suárez. ---- FC Barcelona on Social Media Subscribe
