South America’s largest economies mull dedollarization

Nations from South America to Southeast Asia are choosing to settle international trades with their own currencies, as several countries move away from the U.S. dollar. Among those looking to move away from the dollar are two of South America’s biggest nations: Brazil and Argentina. Last month, Argentina – one of Latin America’s largest economies – began paying for Chinese imports, using China’s currency, the yuan. Brazil is doing the same. CGTN’s Joel Richards reports.
